Milanie recently graduated from the Certified Industrial Personnel program, and is pictured above proudly displaying her certificate. During her application, Milanie let Lokken College’s Intake Team know that she was interested in changing her career, and pursuing employment in industrial fields. Through her 20-week program, Milanie worked closely with her Instructor to create an employment action plan, update her resume and cover letter to be attractive for industrial employment postings, and obtain industry-specific safety tickets, such as: Standard First Aid and CPR C, Confined Space, Forklift Operator, and more.

All of this hard work gave Milanie the confidence to pursue industrial employment, ultimately securing permanent, full-time employment as a Labourer with a local restoration company.
