    1. Will this course work on Mobile Devices?
      Lokken’s learning platform and Google Classroom have both been designed to work with any device, including mobile devices.
    2. What is the cost of the HSTEP program?
      The one-time cost is $125.  This grants access to all of the learning materials for 12 weeks of CAEC exam preparation.
    3. Why is the HSTEP program 12 weeks?
      Over 20 years of GED preparation experience has proven that completing exam preparation within 12 weeks results in increased retention leading to higher passing rates among learners.
    4. What is the refund policy?
      There are no refunds for the HSTEP program.
    5. How often does HSTEP training start?
      HSTEP training starts whenever you are ready with daily intake.
    6. How is HSTEP training delivered?
      HSTEP training is delivered through Lokken’s online learning platform and Google Classroom.
    7. Are foreign students eligible for HSTEP?
      HSTEP training is only available to Canadian students.

  1. Am I able to schedule CAEC tests through Lokken College directly?
    Unfortunately no, Lokken College is unable to schedule tests directly at this time.  The CAEC Digital Platform is the best option for scheduling and payment.
  2. Where do I write the CAEC tests?
    You will write the CAEC tests in-person at the Lokken College campus in downtown Edmonton.
  3. How do I write the CAEC tests?
    CAEC is a computer-based testing system.  You can request a ‘special accommodation’ to write a paper-based test.
  4. What are the CAEC tests?
    There are five (5) CAEC tests in total: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Writing.
  5. What is the cost of the CAEC tests?
    Each CAEC test costs $75.  Payments and scheduling can be completed through the CAEC Digital Platform.
  6. What is the refund policy?
    Refunds are processed through the CAEC Digital Platform.
