Kimberly is pictured above collecting her Lokken College certificate after completing the 20-week Certified Hospitality Personnel program. Kimberly is another one of our learners who completed their program with perfect attendance, demonstrating her commitment to maximizing her employability. During her program, Kimberly worked closely with her Instructor to improve her resume, cover letter, and interviewing skills. She also identified her Employment Goal of being a Front Desk Agent early in the program, and continued to identify employment opportunities related to her goal right up until she secured employment with a local wellness centre.

The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the CAEC exams, and industry specific training through emerit. Emerit certifications include Retail Training, Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, and Line Cook. These courses build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
