Derrick recently graduated from the Certified Industrial Personnel Apprenticeship program at Lokken College. During his program, Derrick improved his resume and cover letter, and focused them to be more appealing to employers in the industrial field. He also attended daily Career Path Management presentations, which focus on the soft-skills employers want, including: Time Management, Money & Budgeting, Anger Management, Stress Management, and more. Finally, as part of his program, Derrick qualified for industry specific training and secured several safety tickets, such as Fall Protection, Confined Space, Forklift Operator, and more.
