Derek recently graduated from the 20-week Certified Industrial Personnel (CIP) program. During his program, he upgraded his resume, cover letter, and interviewing skills. As well, Derek prepared for and wrote the GED exam through Lokken College’s Academic Upgrading curriculum before securing employment. As part of the CIP curriculum, Derek attained industry specific safety tickets such as Confined Space, Fall Protection, Forklift Operator training, and more to improve his chances of securing the employment he wanted.
