Kazmera is pictured above collecting her Lokken College graduation certificate. Kazmera recently graduated after securing employment at the Edmonton Expo Centre, satisfying the final phase of her 20-week Certified Retail Personnel program. To reach this success, Kazmera updated her resume and cover letter, improved her interviewing skills through 1-on-1 mock interviews with her instructor, and tracked employment opportunities daily in her field of choice. During her program, she also attended daily Career Path Management presentations, to improve the “soft-skills” employees are expected to have, and completed academic preparation to write the Canadian Adult Education Credential, which recently replaced GED testing in Canada.
