James (Wes) recently secured employment as a Construction Labourer to satisfy the final phase of his 20-week Certified Industrial Personnel program. Throughout his program, he identified and tracked employment opportunities through Lokken College’s Learner Management System. He also improved his employable skills by creating a professional resume and cover letter, conducting mock interviews with his instructor, and by attending daily Career Path Management presentations to improve his soft-skills, such as: Time Management, Communications, Group Dynamics, Health and Wellness, and more.

James (Wes) completed his program through online learning while demonstrating perfect attendance by clocking in on-time daily. This afforded him the time to work diligently on his curriculum, and prepare for employment properly.
