Chali is pictured above displaying his Lokken College graduation certificate, after successfully completing the 20-week Certified Industrial Personnel Apprenticeship program. Chali recently moved to Canada, and indicated during his application that he would benefit from employment training to springboard him into positive employment experiences. To complete his program, Chali worked hard, demonstrating perfect attendance, and completed the Career Development curriculum, such as: creating a eye-catching resume and cover letter, developing an employment goal and plan to attain that goal, and conducting mock interviews with his instructor to prepare him for employment interviews. To complete the final phase of his program, Chali secured full-time employment with the YMCA of Northern Alberta.

When thinking back to his program, Chali said: “My stay with Lokken College was a very successful time for me. I learned a lot of skills. While studying I got a permanent and Full time job. From now on, I learned how to get a job, and I learned how to keep a job.” Congratulations on your success, Chali. We look forward to hearing from you during the 90-day and 180-day follow ups.
