Matthew is pictured above collecting his certificate after graduating from the 20-week Certified Industrial Personnel program. During the application process, Matthew identified an employment goal of Construction Labourer. After completing the Lokken College curriculum, which included industrial safety tickets, academic upgrading with the intent to write the GED exams, improved resume and cover letter, and daily Career Path Management presentations to improve the “soft skills” employers want, Matthew was able to secure full time employment as a Carpenter Labourer, with the ultimate goal of completing an apprenticeship in that field.

When reflecting on his program, Matthew said the Lokken College program was a “hard but fun experience“, and “Lokken College has been helping with work the classes keeping me on board with the program, I have to say this is a good program“.
