Program Success, Employment Supporting Community
Jasmine is pictured above shortly after securing permanent, full-time employment with Samson Management Limited. During her application and intake interview, Jasmine indicated that she would benefit from developing the skills required to improve her employer prospects. Through her 20-week Certified Hospitality Personnel program, Jasmine identified her employment goal, developed an action plan to obtain that goal, created eye-catching resume and cover letters to target prospective employers, and attended daily Career Path Management presentations to improve her soft-skills such as: Time Management, Money and Budgeting, Stress Management, and more.
The Certified Hospitality Personnel program includes career development curriculum, academic preparation to write the CAEC exams, and industry specific training through emerit. Emerit certifications include Retail Training, Front Desk Agent, Housekeeping Room Attendant, and Line Cook. These courses build knowledge of industry best practices and National Occupational Standards to give learners an edge when entering the workforce.
